The Board also adopts the Common European Reference Standard for LanguagesCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages, which is designed to provide a transparent and comprehensive basis for the development of language curricula and curriculum guidelines, the design of teaching and learning materials, and the assessment of foreign language proficiency.
